Midnight. Almost a cult band that in the 90 the last century rode touring the U.S., board producer spun Iggy Pop and even had to go on a global tour with Gratefull Dead. Then came the closure. After years with this band got together, played to the memorial concert for its founder and composer Milan Hlavsa. The original plan to play only one gig eventually gave birth to more concerts and midnight, by the way, playing in excellent form, so this year should also see our affiliate Eurotrialog Festival Mikulov. If you after all these years put together again, was the original idea completely off at the concert dedicated to the memory of Mejla Hlavsa Půlnoc chapter and then closed. Concert in the Acropolis had a very positive response, began to appear to offer gaming. So we began to be sorry that the program that we rehearsed, should be played only once. We agreed that another year can hold it together.
The memorial concert was so good that somewhere in the press and even appeared mind that you play there better than years ago, when Midnight functioned as a regular band. Do you think that is such a thing possible, or was rather exaggerated enthusiasm of the writer? And as you've ever had after years of playing such enjoyed yourself?
For myself, I think we enjoyed a concert, was a great atmosphere, good people and excellent sound. The way we played, consider whether someone else for myself, I think that Midnight played a great concert.
And let's to the present. Midnight played several concerts and festivals. Again, to answer for themselves. Yeah, I'm glad it came out, those things are, even after years of atmosphere. Now we have discovered live recordings from the last period of midnight and ourselves are surprised at how good things still are. Speaking of guerrillas, it was the Chiefs, which makes this label, one of the above mentioned memorial event organized by the Mejla and deserved it so well that Midnight got together. Do you think that you ever met a midnight yet, but for this Lábusova impulse?

This time the turn of the 80th And 90 of the last century was extremely magical well that suddenly came a huge wave of euphoria and freedom. Suddenly there arose a new premises and clubs where you can play before they banned music, the band began to ride here, which we never dreamed of before, came many new impulses and ideas, freedom ... How did you actually experienced it all and you saw yourself and when it came to be sober again and realizing that every coin has two sides and just one will again have to face every day with a bunch of filth and nonsense that there were, are and will be ....
Mejla had a good sense of smell and as soon as he appeared on the scene, Klaus, it commented, ended the dictatorship of the proletariat and the dictatorship of money begins. I think it fits. But of course, early 90s, CR was the freest country in the world ... And otherwise we're old enough to surprise us something ...

I actually after all these years has not really know. The pressure to restore the PPU, was a new singer, due to our laxity fell off a world tour with the Dead Gratefull etc.etc. They were wonderful years, but I certainly like to think.

I was very entertained. We all almost 20 years older, we are calmer, and perhaps it is, hopefully, i hear.
And now what people actually make up your audience? They are mostly old-timers, or even go "young". And people come to you often and after concerts and are interested in at midnight and things around?
Remove all possible. Old, young, boys, girls, you would be able to walk but still more that. And our kids go ... After the concert, it's like always. Each time she finds a pair of daring, come, speak, to ask, etc.
